Birth Classes

Weekends in the month of April, 2005

THE CLASSES WERE REALLY USEFUL AND VERY NEEDED FOR EVERY COUPLE PLANNING FOR BABY

Took three classes altogether

 Interesting aspects were:

• 25% of babies whose sex were found through Ultrasound proved wrong - boys were girls and girls were boys (so not sure if its going to be Pranav or Shreya :-)

• Babies are safest when the child seat is mounted in the rear-seat center

• Not many countries allow partners to be present with the mothers while delivery

• Umbilical cord could be preserved and used for your own or family needs later for their stem-cells. More here...

• The first ever milk from mother is called colostrum and is a must to drink for every newborn baby; also the milk is so designed that the initial few drops is mere water to quench the thirst of baby. More here...
