NATURAL BRIDGE - VIRGINIA

runghayu.jpg (40837 bytes)It was a trip from Pittsburgh back to Raleigh and we thought we will go through one of the wonders - Natural Bridge. Standing more than 200 feet tall, this is a natural formation of a bridge between mountains. Interestingly the bridge is used by a highway.

The bridge looks splendid when viewed from under. The bridge, claimed to be one of the natural wonders, of the world is worth a visit.

natural.jpg (38647 bytes)The walking trail inside was green green all the way and a nice break for a tiring long drive. The river flowing aside calmly brought a tranquil ambience.

The nearby attractions include a toy museum that has around 45,000 toys. Although it was disappointing toymuseum.jpg (17384 bytes) to see more toys of Lego type that you see in Wal-Mart or Toysrus, it was interesting to see the oldest toy (Made in England) and the smallest toys (Made in Mexico).

Curious of this, I thought of buying some cool and unique games from the attached store. One thing catchy was the small Rubik's Cube. Although I was interested in the conventional 3x3 one, the sales person was trying to sell me the 2x2 one telling that its more difficult to solve. Really? My little brain says that 3x3 has more combinations than 2x2. :-)
