21 Tower View:

Not until recently, we were allowed to see this wonder - partially to make money they introduced this concept with little advertisement for tourists. But I liked it for the fact that we can see almost all towers of the temple. I do not know how it counted 21 but I could get only 13 captured but the best was the view of the Golden Tower, thanks to the long zoom my camera allowed.

The tower made of pure gold is protected by electric shield and perhaps this is the only way we could capture via a camera. We can get a closer glimpse of it from two locations inside the temple when you go around moolavar but camera is not allowed there. But the closer view is amazing and shines with reflecting light. This tower only covers or protects moolavar or the main statue of Lord Ranganatha. It was interesting to know that the Lord never gets a water bath; as the idol is made of a variety of limestone, its just anointed with some gel once a year.
