Wow! what a beautiful view with a nice reflection? This is the holy pond also called Chandra Pushkarani (moon light pond?). Lord Ranganatha (mobile one or Ursavar) takes shower once a year here. Thank God Renganatha for keeping this pond closed for public and fenced as this is really a deep pond having the capacity and depth of 9 deep wells. Its amazing how this has water throughout the year - perhaps the river under the temple brings the water? |
