West side of the temple does not follow the other sides by having an entrance to the temple and so we see only two towers. Instead of the third tower or tower of entrance, we see a big wall. I am thinking if it is because of the river that is flowing beneath the temple or for the Chakkarathalwar temple and Vasantha Mandapam occupying the west side of the temple this side of the temple is blocked. |
