The most beautiful part of the temple that makes it artistic, grand and detailed is the work of art. I could see art in every stone of the temple. The Cholas must have been really artistic to appreciate this much in giving details. No wonder Architecture Society of India has identified Tanjore Temple as one of the architecture treasures of India.
