Tokyo was fun! Be it the Shinkansen (Bullet Train) ride or the skyscrapers or the Disney land or the opulent Ginza - it was a different experience altogether for a person who has not seen a fast city and each needs a special mention. For example, train journey was more expensive than air travel but still people prefer trains for the convenience and the connections with the local trains. Another thing worth mentioning was the comfort of the train travel - a glass of water kept on the food tray did not even shake once during the 3+ hrs travel between Osaka and Tokyo. Wow, what a design! Way to go Japanese Engineers! |
